Born in Taiwan, Qi Shu won the prestigious Taiwan Golden Horse Award (considered the Oscar of East Asia) for Best Supporting Actress in 1998. She also received the Golden Horse Award for Best Lead Actress in 2005. She played with Jackie Chan in the romantic comedy Jackie Chan in Hong Kong (1999) (“Gorgeous”).
