The film follows a group of South Korean researchers who travel to Antarctica to explore an unknown region of Queen Maud Land. The group consists of five members, including leader Choi Do-hyung, Dr. Kim Min-jae, geologist Lee Young-jae, biologist Kang Ki-suk and helicopter pilot Shin Mi-rae. As soon as they arrive on the spot, the group is confronted with extreme weather conditions and difficulties to advance. They also discover strange and unexplained tracks in the snow, which suggest the presence of an unknown creature in the area.
