BIOGRAPHY: Graduated from Hanyang University where he studied French language and literature. Lee Byung-hun began his acting career in the television series “Asphalt My Hometown”. He continued to act in various television series and films until his big breakthrough in cinema in 2000, in the South Korean thriller “Joint Security Area” where he played the role of Sergeant Lee Soo-hyeok. In 2001, his popularity continued to climb thanks to the television series Beautiful Days and All In. Acclaimed in 2005 by film critics for his performance in the film A Bittersweet Life. Byung-Hun reunited for the second time in 2008 with director Kim Jee-woon in the adventure film The Good, the Bad and the Crazy. After a light stint in France, he made his debut in American cinema playing the role of Storm Shadow in the action film G.I. Joe: Le Réveil du Cobra.
