BIOGRAPHY:

Kasumi Arimura is known for playing the young Haruko Amano in the Amachan (2013), and the lead role in the Hiyokko (2017) as well as the films Flying Colors (2015) and We Made A Beautiful Bouquet (2021), the former which won her the Newcomer of The Year Award in the 39th Japan Academy Film Prize and the latter, the Best Actress Award in the 45th Japan Academy Film Prize. Having won awards for both films and television dramas, she is often regarded as one of the most popular and versatile actresses in Japan.
