Dustin Tri Nguyen, left Vietnam in 1975 to settle in the United States and established himself as one of the first American actors of Asian origin to emerge from the world of martial arts in Hollywood, having played in successful television series such as “21 Jump Street”, “Seaquest DSV”, “VIP”, as well as feature films such as Man with the iron fists 2, The Rebel and the critically acclaimed film Little Fish. The same performance earned him the 2007 Asian Award of Excellence for Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film.
