Sinopsis:
In the Cambodian countryside, Chakra, a 14-year-old boy, works in the rice field with his family. Aspiring to be more independent, he seeks a smuggler to find a paid job in a factory in Thailand. Without saying anything to his family, he goes to Bangkok in the hope of earning a better living. On arriving there, Chakra and his new friend Kea, aged about thirty, discover that the middleman has lied to them: like other Cambodians and Burmese, they are sold as slaves to a trawler captain …
