Synopsis:
The young monk Taka and his three disciples, are trapped and captured by the demonic tree. Taka escapes with the Monkey King’s magic staff, then sets out to free his companions. On the way, he meets an unlikely ally and friend named Meiyan, a half-human, half-monster girl, who accompanies him. The latter will fall in love with the monk, but the legend also says that she will have to devour him to obtain immortality…
