Synopsis:
Tokyo nowadays, the middle, cabarets and bars where we listen to jazz. “Tokyo blues” portrays the nightlife of a jazz cabaret in the grip of the Japanese gangs, the “Yakuzas”. Based on the musical theme of pianist Mal Waldron, “Left Alone”, which he composed in memory of Billie Holiday, “Tokyo Blues” is a tribute to American black films.
