Synopsis:
The Asahiza Cinema has been in existence for nearly 100 years in Minamisoma City, Fukushima Prefecture. Contrary to many active establishments today, this one only shows old movies; which implies a lower attendance. Indeed, for some years, the cinema is dying slowly. Yasuzo Morita, the director, decides to close the cinema… But as he is about to give up everything, a young woman named Rika Motegi comes to meet him. She tells him that she has come from Tokyo especially to save the Asahiza.
