Dong-seok Ma est devenu célèbre pour ses rôles dans les films The Neighbor, Nameless Gangster. Il a ensuite joué des rôles principaux comme dans Norigae, Murderer et One on One.
Mais c’est dans le film de zombies “Train to Busan” que Dong-seok Ma sera propulsé vers une popularité internationale.
Pendant ce temps, sur le petit écran, Dong-seok Ma est connu pour ses rôles dans la série télévisée à succès OCN Bad Guys and Squad 38.
